hi there
I'm Emily. And welcome to the inside of my head -- I mean -- blog. This space serves as my creative outlet -- a home where I share my writing and photos as a way to connect with others. Here you'll find my ramblings about my Catholic faith, motherhood, ethical fashion, and anything else that sparks my interest at the time. My husband Bradley and I are Louisiana grown turned Midwest transplants turned new Louisiana residents (St. Francisville to be exact). Please laugh along with us as these city-folk try to navigate small town country life with our two little ones in tow!
A few fun things about me: I believe we should rejoice (enthusaistically!) over the small things that make life beautiful. Like strong coffee. And new books. And freshly picked flowers. My love for sunshine, chocolate chip baked goods, and farmers market picnics run deep. I have an unhealthy (that's debated) affection for the Sound of Music and French things and Jane Austen novels. My drink of choice is rose in the summer and pinot noir in the winter and a cold beer year round.
Above all, our little family strives to glorify Jesus in the details of our lives. We don't do this perfectly, nor are we perfect, but we accept our faults and trust that the Lord will bring a greater good from our weaknesses. Our goal is to make Him known and loved and we encourage you to invite Him into your heart to witness how radically beautiful living a life with Christ can be.
If you'd like to introduce yourself, feel free to send me an e-mail at emilyfossier@gmail.com.
I wish I could invite you over for a cup of coffee and freshly baked cookies, but since I can't... I am grateful for the WWW (world wide web) for making us a part of each others lives. I'm a big fan of virtual and real life friendships and I'd love to hear from you!
